The Ross Distortion brings the same quality tone and build the company built its name on with a tough-as-nails metal enclosure, streamlined two-knob interface consisting of controls for distortion and output, and a durable stomp switch. A predecessor to the throatier distortions of the 1980s, this model’s smoother, more “vintage” character lends a bit more muscle than a fuzz or distortion without overwhelming your tone.
