Modern music of all styles leans heavily on the sound of heavily processed vocals — not just your run-of-the-mill “Robot Voice” and vocoder effects, but extreme synth and bass sounds with wildly altered formants and pitch-perfect tuning. Roland’s AIRA VT-3 Voice Transformer offers a wide range of these sorts of processed sounds with intuitive controls and onboard USB interface. Pair the VT-3 up with other products from the AIRA line and build your own powerhouse of an electronic music studio without emptying your bank account.
