The Random*Source Serge Resonant Equalizer (ResEQ) is a legendary 10-band filter for synthesizers, known for creating natural-sounding formant peaks and valleys similar to acoustic instruments, with bands spaced in musical major-seventh intervals. Key features include powerful boost/cut (up to 12dB), unique “Comb” outputs for stereo effects, a feedback loop for self-oscillation and chaotic sounds, and an optional Voltage Control (VC) version with CV inputs and attenuverters for dynamic modulation.
