The MXR ’76 Dyna Comp Reissue uses the same circuitry as the original 1976 Dyna Comp and is almost identical, save for its key component: the CA3080 integrated circuit. This IC means quieter operation and more transparency, as well as an increased dynamic range. The Dyna Comp Reissue has only two knobs, Output and Sensitivity, for creating a variety of compression or sustain effects.
