If the MXL V67G recalls to mind a certain green-bodied/gold-grilled studio heavyweight, it’s no accident. This vocal mic exceeds all expectations, aiming to bring the breathy diction and throaty warmth of a well-loved tube legend to a quiet, Class A project-studio design. The V67G’s Class A FET architecture and transformer-coupled output result in a fast, faithful, and flattering reproduction of male and female vocals. We’re talking lead vocals that lead, and spoken word passages that speaks. And whether you’re emoting or narrating, the MXL V67G’s gold-sputtered, 1.26-inch capsule is able to give your voice a healthy dose of old-school broadcast character. In a mix, this often translates to a sound that is larger than life.
Please note that all accessories including power supplies, cables, boxes and cases will be accurately photographed in our listings.
