The Matthews Effects The Harbinger is a boutique distortion pedal that upgrades the classic, vintage “Rodent-style” (ProCo RAT) gain circuit with a highly flexible parametric EQ. By placing the active EQ before the distortion circuit instead of after it, it allows you to radically shape how the distortion saturates and responds.
