The Lone Wolf Audio Hambeast is a high-fidelity studio preamp pedal designed to boost and shape your guitar tone, particularly within the effects loop of a tube amplifier. It features an expanded version of the Slam Pig with a full EQ section based on a mid-focused “HIGH T” network topology, a 6-way mid-voice rotary switch, and operates at 35v (requiring an isolated and regulated 9v power source). The Hambeast is known for its ability to create a scooped yet clear and gnarly sound, especially when used to complement the frequency response of a tube amp, and is often favored for sludgy, disgusting tones.
