Ibanez’s FL9 Flanger Reissue boasts the same circuitry and beloved flange as its vintage ’80s counterpart but provides more consistency. Because of its quiet time delay, the FL9 creates a rather noise-free flange, which can be modified with Regen (feedback/intensity), Sweep, Width, and Delay Time knobs. This allows players to hone in on one particular part of the sound and tweak it until you find exactly what you’re looking for.
