Housing a preamp with distortion, 2-band EQ tuned specifically for bass, and a switchable compressor that won’t choke your bottom end, the Bass Metaphors is a serious quality direct box for live and studio situations as well as a killer tone-shaping pedal for your rig. A dry output is provided to hit your amp while taking a separate feed for the processed signal, letting you or the engineer blend the two together for one huge composite sound.
