The Akai Tom Cat is an analog drum machine with one foot in the past and the other in the future. Marrying the concept of tweakable vintage step sequenced drum machines with modern conveniences like USB connectivity and enhanced portability, the Akai Tom Cat is equally capable of churning out retro disco loops or modern glitch beats. Independently configureable Kick, Snare, Clap, Hi-Hat and Disco Toms plus a 32-step sequencer give you all the tools you need to program an entire show’s worth of drum tracks, plus the controls to perform and tweak your sounds on the fly.
