The PastFx Preamp Crunch is a pedal that isolates the preamp section of the BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble into a standalone unit. It offers a warm, chimey crunch, saturation, and natural compression, similar to the CE-1’s preamp. The “Plus” version adds a Master control for adjusting overall volume. It includes features like a high/low input sensitivity switch, a buffer switch, and an internal “Pot Mod” switch for experimenting with different Level control potentiometer values.
