Fuzz pedals usually work with germanium or silicon transistors or are built up digitally – Friedman also focuses on the good, old tube technology on the topic of fuzz. The heart of the Fuzz Fiend pedal is a 12AX7 tube, which is operated with real high voltage and is not, as with some other pedals, an alibi tube or fancy gimmick. The Fuzz Fiend pedal provides a variety of different fuzz sounds, with the effective 3 band tone control, various cool sound timbres are adjustable.
