The Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-1 is a phantom-powered boost for your passive ribbon and dynamic microphones that need a little extra level before the mic preamp. Simply connect the CL-1 between your microphone’s output and your preamp’s input, then engage the +48V phantom power on the pre to kick on the CL-1’s gain boost, requiring less muscle from your interface’s preamp.
