Xotic’s XW-2 wah pedal represents the epitome of plug-and-play design, paring away the controls of the XW-1 to result in a sleek knob-less form factor. Fans of the XW-1 will be thrilled to hear that the XW-2 takes its tonal cues straight from its stompbox predecessor, granting you an expressive and versatile wah-wah tone based on the holy grail of vintage wah pedals: the Italian-made Clyde McCoy models of the late 1960s. It’s truly timeless wah tone that’s equally at home playing throaty rock solos to funky muted rhythms. What’s more, the XW-2’s custom-designed circuit automatically optimizes your wah tone — no knobs necessary. A slimmed-down metal chassis, smooth action, and adjustable pedal torsion only sweeten the pot, but act fast: this uniquely finished version of the XW-2 will be gone before you know it!
