The Subdecay Proteus Auto Filter streamlines the more difficult aspect of an envelope filter into an intuitive pedal with plenty of features. Developed from the company’s previous envelope filter the Prometheus, the Proteus incorporates simple controls for depth and frequency along with a tap tempo switch (the pedal handles the heavy lifting in the filter department), and 1/2/4 step sequencer switch for use in the sample mode.
